AIE’s first Corrosion Management Training Course was successfully held from the 3rd – 5th of October 2017 at the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort.
The aim of the course was to provide a detailed understanding of the different corrosion threats as well as the modern, cost-effective corrosion monitoring and mitigation techniques. To accomplish this goal, the three-day training course was delivered by three of our most experienced Principal Engineers with a collective working experience of over 70 years.
In accordance with the course evaluation survey, which included assessment of the course content, each of the three instructors, self-assessment of the delegates and the delegates’ feedback; the training course was highly effective and successful to both the delegates and AIE.
The delegates’ feedback, assessing the course’s content, objective, training material, case studies, distribution, organization and time allocation, showed a high 87% of positive feedback, 10% of neutral feedback and only 3% of negative feedback.
Moreover, the delegates were given the chance to question the instructors’ course material knowledge, communication skills, course preparation and competence and the results demonstrated a strong 96% of positive feedback, 4% of neutral feedback and zero negative feedback.
Lastly, the delegates were asked to conduct a self-assessment survey to determine their development in comparison to their already existing knowledge in the topics covered, where 94% was achieved towards benefiting and betterment from participating in our Corrosion Management Training Course.
Our next public Corrosion Management training course will be held later next year from the 25th – 27th September 2018 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach, Dubai Marina, UAE. An early bird booking discount is available for bookings made before 15th August 2018.
