This module forms part of our 3-day Pipeline Integrity Management training course which is aimed to provide a comprehensive and structured approach to understanding and implementing a robust pipeline integrity management system. From the lifecycle considerations to threat assessments, defect evaluations, and corrosion control strategies, this course equips professionals with the practical skills and theoretical background needed to ensure pipeline safety and longevity. MODULE DESCRIPTION:

This module provides a provision of the theoretical background and the practical knowledge that is necessary to operate, maintain and test of CP systems.

MODULE OBJECTIVES:

  • Define the components and standards of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems.
  • Understand different types of CP systems, including galvanic and impressed current systems.
  • Learn design considerations, maintenance, and testing procedures for CP systems.

MODULE OUTCOME:

Delegates will leave with the practical knowledge necessary to operate, maintain, and test Cathodic Protection systems, enhancing pipeline integrity.
