MODULE DESCRIPTION:
This module addresses the methodology and process of well anomaly management and, in more detail, Sustained Casing Pressure management. It explains how Sustained Casing Pressure can be detected, monitored, assessed and then managed according. This module also provides the requirements and techniques of intervention and repair.
MODULE OBJECTIVES:
- Learn about the criteria for defining an anomaly
- Understand the process of anomaly management
- Define sustained casing pressure and understand how it is detected and how it should be managed
- Learn about various intervention and repair techniques and their requirements
ASSESSMENT:
The training module is followed by an interactive case study to reinforce learning.
MODULE OUTCOME:
The delegates will be able to implement an effective anomaly management process for their wells. They will also learn how to proactively manage and detect sustained casing pressure threats.
