This module forms part of our 3-day Pipeline Integrity Management training course which is aimed to provide a comprehensive and structured approach to understanding and implementing a robust pipeline integrity management system. From the lifecycle considerations to threat assessments, defect evaluations, and corrosion control strategies, this course equips professionals with the practical skills and theoretical background needed to ensure pipeline safety and longevity. MODULE DESCRIPTION:

This module discussed the various techniques and tools used in the assessment of pipeline integrity.

MODULE OBJECTIVES:

  • Understand various pipeline inspection tools, including smart pigs and crack detection devices.
  • Learn about selection criteria and industry best practices for conducting inspections.
  • Gain knowledge on geometry, mapping, MFL, UT, and specialty pigs.

MODULE OUTCOME:

Delegates will leave with the skills to conduct thorough pipeline inspections, ensuring the early detection of potential integrity issues.
