MODULE DESCRIPTION:

This module sheds the light on the different External corrosion and degradation threats and their respective susceptible systems.

MODULE OBJECTIVES:

  • Learn about external corrosion types, including soil corrosion, and methods for estimating soil corrosivity.
  • Understand external corrosion protection measures and monitoring techniques.
  • Gain knowledge on various pipeline coating types, application, inspection, and potential failures.

MODULE OUTCOME:

Delegates will be proficient in safeguarding pipelines against external corrosion, enhancing the overall integrity of assets.
