MODULE DESCRIPTION:
A detailed investigation of the various mechanisms of internal / external corrosion and flow assurance issues along with their susceptible wells. This module also explains the various control and monitoring techniques that are currently available in the industry to mitigate these threats.
MODULE OBJECTIVES:
- Learn about the following threats and the effects these have on the integrity of a well:
- Erosion
- Paraffins, wax, asphaltene
- Scale
- Corrosion issues (CO2, H2S)
- Sulphide Stress Cracking
ASSESSMENT:
The training module is followed by an interactive case study to reinforce learning.
MODULE OUTCOME:
The delegates will be able to analyze the most prominent threats relevant to their wells. They will also learn about the most effective techniques that monitor and control these threats.
