MODULE DESCRIPTION:

This module provides a detailed analysis of different internal corrosion and degradation threats.

MODULE OBJECTIVES:

  • Define various internal corrosion mechanisms, including CO2 corrosion, H2S corrosion, and MIC.
  • Learn effective methods for monitoring and managing internal corrosion.
  • Understand material selection and protective measures like coatings, liners, and cladding.
  • Gain insight into life cycle costing considerations for corrosion control.

MODULE OUTCOME:

Delegates will leave with the expertise to identify and mitigate internal corrosion threats, ensuring the longevity of pipeline assets.
