OVERVIEW:

This module forms part of our 3-day Pipeline Integrity Management training course which is aimed to provide a comprehensive and structured approach to understanding and implementing a robust pipeline integrity management system. From the lifecycle considerations to threat assessments, defect evaluations, and corrosion control strategies, this course equips professionals with the practical skills and theoretical background needed to ensure pipeline safety and longevity. MODULE DESCRIPTION:

This module addresses how Integrity should be considered and implemented at different stages of an asset’s lifecycle.

MODULE OBJECTIVES:

  • Define the stages in a pipeline’s lifecycle and their significance.
  • Understand how decisions made at one stage affect subsequent stages.
  • Learn the purpose and implementation of mothballing in pipeline management.

MODULE OUTCOME:

Delegates will leave with a clear understanding of how integrity considerations evolve throughout the lifecycle of a pipeline asset.
