AIE’s Service Excellence Rewarded with a Renewal of the Integrity Management Service Contract by Sharjah National Oil Corporation

01 Sep

Asset Integrity Engineering (AIE) is a leading asset integrity management system (AIMS) service provider which operates across the MENA region, servicing clients in the UAE, Oman, Algeria, Qatar, Iraq and KSA. AIE’s service excellence was recently rewarded when the Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) chose to renew the Integrity Management Services (IMS) contract for the Sajaa Gas Plant facilities with AIE for a full term.

AIE originally won the service contract for IMS at Sajaa Gas Plant from Petrofac in 2013, but operation of the facilities returned to the owner, SNOC, in 2015 with AIE’s IMS contract spanning the transition.

The scope of work for the contract covers pressure systems, structural and pipeline integrity management strategy (SIMS and PIMS), risk based inspection (RBI), software provision, fitness for service (ffs), design verification, cathodic protection (CP) management, QA/QC, inspection and NDT services. AIE also provides asset integrity and process safety training to SNOC personnel within the UAE.

Graham Carnie, EPIC Manager at Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC), commented:

“Asset integrity is one of SNOC’s core values and is pivotal in ensuring the safe operation of our assets, safeguarding HSE while optimising the asset’s lifecycle. SNOC have ambitious plans for the coming years and to achieve these plans will require support and expertise from our key service providers. AIE’s service provision over the previous contract period was of a very high standard and they brought a number of significant improvements which have developed the integrity management systems and service quality within our operations. We look forward to another successful contract with AIE as our independent integrity management service provider.”

Neil Flemming, AIE Managing Director, said:

“Our headquarters in Sharjah, UAE are located close to the Sajaa Gas Plant and we value SNOC as a strategically important long-term client. We see the renewal of the Sajaa IMS contract as a strong vote of confidence in our service excellence, and the hard work put in by all our team over an extended period of time.”

Asset Integrity Engineering is an independent provider of asset integrity management, engineering, inspection and training services to the Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Nuclear industries.
