AIE is proud to announce that it has successfully completed its second industry 3-day Corrosion Management training course held from the 25th to 27th of September 2018 in Dubai, UAE.
“AIE really improves the culture of different individuals and how they look at integrity of the asset. They increase the level of understanding related to integrity, corrosion, etc. Really, well done!”, quoted one of the candidates on completion of the course.
AIE strives to develop and improve asset integrity programs, increase candidates’ broad-based knowledge and promote solid engineering good practices in every way possible, whether it be through our training services, consultancy services or software development. Receiving such feedback makes us very proud as it tells us that we continue to deliver on our customers’ expectations.
The attendees of our Corrosion Management training course were given the chance to evaluate the content of the course and the instructors delivering it, which enables us to ensure that the training course is continuously improved to meet the candidates’ expectations and so that the attendees receive the best training that we can provide. Providing a detailed understanding of the different corrosion threats from various real-life scenarios as well as the modern, cost-effective corrosion monitoring and mitigation techniques, the course received a strong 86% of positive feedback in terms of content.
Moreover, being delivered by the region’s leading corrosion specialists, the training course received 90% positive feedback in terms of the instructor knowledge, experience and ability to deliver the training at the highest level.
Finally, the attendees were asked to self-assess their knowledge related to the topics discussed in the training course before and after its delivery and the results received showed that more than 90% of the people thought they had increased their knowledge relating to corrosion management. The delegates came from diverse cultural backgrounds working for major operators such as GASCO, DNO, SNOC, DP and EGA, and they contributed to the course’s success by bringing in their experience and site-based real-life topics and interacting throughout the duration of the course when discussing the many interesting case studies that were being presented.
Our next Corrosion Management training course will be held next year from the 1st to 3rd of October 2019 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach, Dubai Marina, UAE.
