AIE attended the ADNOC Digitalization & AI Corrosion and Inspection Forum

02 May

AIE were invited to present at the very recent and successful Digitalization & AI Corrosion and Inspection Forum organized by ADNOC Gas Processing in Abu Dhabi 28-30 April 2019.

“Digitalization in Corrosion and Integrity Management” was presented by AIE’s Managing Director, Mr. Neil Flemming, who discussed innovative Corrosion, Integrity and RBI management software with the audience. The presentation and subsequent topic was received with great interest by the audience, who keenly interacted on discussions relating to several areas, one being corrosion costs in the GCC.

The second presentation titled “Challenges with Cathodic Protection Systems” was delivered by AIE’s Principal CP Specialist, Dr. Antonio Martinez, which discussed the challenges that Cathodic Protection practitioners have during the different phases of CP implementation. Other topics within the presentation included CP design, review of CP Codes and Standards, monitoring challenges, assessments and the maintenance of CP systems. Dr. Antonio’s vision relating to the future of the Cathodic Protection industry was also shared with the audience and again well received.
